REFLECTIONS

This module was very interesting as well a difficult one. Throughout the semester I faced several challenges while doing my assignments for this module. Adobe Illustrator is indeed a challenging software, but I can say that by the end of this semester I have learned to use this program much better. I have learned to use several tools in Illustrator such as warp tool, envelope distort, pen tool, pencil tool, path finder, shape builder, gradient tool, making a clipping mask or compound path, etc. I learned to make vector illustrations. It also taught me to be conscious of shapes, where I learned to utilize and combine several shapes to make new ones. I improved my composition and perspective skills. The art book that sir provided us called 'Spilled Ink' definitely contributed in this aspect. I have developed other skills such as time management and properly planning out my ideas.

This module pushed me to create things outside of my comfort zone. I can proudly say I created things that I am genuinely proud of. I can also agree with the fact there is a lot of room for improvement. I conclude by saying this module has significantly helped me to improve my art skills.
