INSTRUCTIONS
Project 1: Pre-Production
You are to create a suitable vehicle and props design for the world that you have proposed across for character design and anatomy (optional) or you can have it separate. Your vehicle and props should communicate their functionality in a way that reflects the proposed world.
PROJECT 1:
PRE-PRODUCTION
For the ideation phase I wanted to create a vehicle in a world covered in mould. This world the mould has evolved strong enough to overtake and consume the rest of the world. The mould have grown to use vehicles objects and even people as hosts. Vehicles in this place are alive. Here since the mould needs water to grow, most of the world is covered in water and often people use boats and water vehicles as a mode of transportation and sometimes even their house.
For my idea I wanted to created a house boat reminiscent of those house boats found in Kerala. This boat is used as a mode of transport and a house.
I drew out the world in which this vehicle would exist. which is a swampy forest covered in wet floors and lakes and the vines and plants consuming plants and the ground.

For the ideation sketch of the vehicle. I designed a houseboat that could be used to trave land live in. These houseboats had a paddle to row the both. There is a wheel to cut through the thick water and plant. The lantern to see through the fog and darkness. The boat is covered in mould and the plant mutated the boat and started growing out of it.
