This week was consultation week number 2. He look through our posters and gave us feedback. Mr. Fauzi said that those who finished working on their poster can start with their animation. After consultation was done we spend the rest of class hours working on our final assignment.

WEEK 12-13 PROJECT 4B

For week 12, I decided to take the pictures required for my poster. I decided to use this picture of me for my collage poster.

These were the pictures I used for the poster

First, I imported the image to photoshop and then made adjustments to the image using adjustment layers such as hue/saturation. brightness/contrast, levels.

Then I removed the background of the image.

Then I placed the image onto my canvas

I placed the photo of the abstract canvas painting I did and put it as the background. I lowered the opacity of the background.

I added the cloud image on the top and bottom. I added a gradient adjustment layer to the clouds and applied clipping mask.

I went to adobe illustrator and made butterfly and star elements and I placed the butterfly and star elements on top of my image.

Then I added the paint wave element and then added and warped the quote 'Express Freely' on top of the shape. Then I added it on top of my poster.

REFLECTIONS

Working on this assignment was very fascinating for me. I was able to bring my sketch to life. With this assignment, I mainly used my previous knowledge in adobe photoshop. I incorporated a lot of blending modes as well. My main challenge was to make sure the colors are harmonious but also vibrant and colorful. I also had challenge making the abstract painting and make it look aesthetic as well as taking good pictures of my self. For the most part with this assignment, I had no diversion from my original sketch and art direction. Overall I enjoyed working on the composition part of this assignment.
