CLASS SUMMARY
From this week onwards begins consultation week. He assigned project 3 which is the e-portfolio and we are required to submit the E-portfolio Link. We also were assigned the final project where we have to create a poster and animate it. He assigned the ppt which we had to fill up. He went through our mood board and gave us feedback on how to proceed with our poster.
WEEK 11 PROJECT 4B
This week we were assigned the final project where we have to create poster collage with our own photograph. We are required to make a poster that in a way expresses ourselves and our dreams. After creating the poster we have to animate it in after effects.
Idea Development
In this section we need to write a biography about ourselves and a statement about our work.
1. Write a biography about yourself
Introduction :- Hi I am Subhana. I am from India was born in Qatar and lived there my whole life. I recently moved to Malaysia two months back to study Creative Media in Taylor’s University. I like walking around and exploring, playing board and card games and spending time with friends.
What is your passion?
My passion is to make art, illustrations and comics.
What’s motivate you to achieve your dream?
My deep passion for art and the enjoyment I get from the process.
How do you want to visualize your dream into an artwork?
I would like to make a collage poster of me painting on a canvas to show my artistic side
2. Write a statement about your work
Introduction :- I would like to make a collage poster with different layers. And the main image is of me painting on a canvas on an easel. I would like to add artistic elements like illustrated annotations to contribute to this idea or dream. I would also like to add a lot of color to add to the art making process.
What is the concept behind it?
I would like to portray my passion of making art through my piece. I would like to portray drawing art in an interesting light. This will encourage others to start drawing and painting for fun. I would also like to portray the feeling of free as that is how I feel when I make art.
What is the message you want people to understand it?
The main message I want to convey is to encourage people to follow their passion or goals. I also want to show that you can use art as a form of self expression for your thoughts and feelings.

REFLECTIONS
This week was challenging as I had to figure out the direction in which I wanted to carry out my poster. I started with filling up the idea development section in the ppt to help me out with the idea. I even browsed through Pinterest give me inspiration. This assignment helped me better my composition technique and decision making skills in terms of placing elements.
