LECTURES

In week 3, Mr. Fauzi gave us a brief explanation on the different features on the program. He also provided a demonstration on how to use the lasso tool, pen tool and layering. Lasso tool allows us to draw or carve out specific areas of the image. The pen tool allows you to create a path from scratch. There are other types other than the regular lasso tool, such as the polygonal lasso and the magnetic lasso. Which pen tool you don't have to worry about your images being pixelated unlike lasso tool. Layers help in making adjustments to individual parts without affecting one another.

CLASS SUMMARY

In week 3, we continued to work on our physical collage. Mr, Fauzi approved of the best composition and we were asked to glue the pieces together during practical class. We were required to submit final composition of our physical collages by the end of this week

REFLECTIONS

This assignment was entertaining as well as educational. It helped me become more familiar with Adobe Photoshop. I learned how to use the different features in the software to improve my workflow. This assignment taught me to be creative and smart as I had to work within the limitations. I also had to think about the aesthetics, focal point and balance of the composition, thereby improving my ability in these areas.
