Week 5 Project 1B Exercise 2

LECTURES

In week 5, We learnt about Double Exposure and Image Blending Modes. Double exposure refers to the merging of images. We can use the Tilt-Shift tool to achieve this by going to Feature > Blur gallery > Tilt-Shift. Blend Modes is another way to edit your objects. The most commonly used ones are Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Soft light. To use the Blend Modes you select the layer that goes on top of the background, go to the blending options and select the blending mode you want to choose.

This practical was an interesting exercise as it taught me how to use certain features in photoshop. I learnt how to edit pictures into different backgrounds. It was an easy exercise and the tutorial given was easy to follow. The second assignment allowed me the flexibility to take an interesting pictures of myself to insert into the environment. I feel this practical improved my understanding of photoshop.
